Both series’ incorporates the five strands of mathematics (number sense; algebra and functions; measurement and geometry; statistics, data analysis and probability; and mathematical reasoning) and is aligned with the Content Standards for California Public Schools.
Site-licensed software, the Saxon Math and enVision web sites, and teacher-designed computer activities will continue to enhance and improve students’ understanding by providing individualized activities to reinforce skills and concepts and foster deeper mathematical learning.
Every year, all grade levels have met Annual Measurable Objectives (AMOs) for mathematics on the California Standards Test confirming the alignment of the program with state standards and the effectiveness of the adoption in meeting the needs of the Charter School’s student population.
